  2. Let others help a bit. Mine is from childhood abuse, and then working in a bank that got robbed kind of piled on. One of the most irritating things people say is some variation of “forgive and forget” or “get over it.” If I could, don’t you think I would have? Don’t you think that I’d love to not be saddled with this?
